End of Winter

Last weekend was the zone league tournament. The guys went undefeated the first day including a tough match against Commerce at their home pool. Sunday we fell short to Foothill, but battled back and beat Ventura in Sudden Death. We ended the tournament 3rd place. This was a terrific way to end a successful winter session!

Next stop...

The Junior Olympic Zone Qualifying tournament (JO QUALS)

This will be the focus of the spring session of One Way. Practices will start towards the end of March. Check back for details.

The focus of our team is to get better as individuals and experience different polo than you get from your high school teams. Currently the overwhelming majority of our attendance is comprised of athletes from Righetti. We need talent from as many high schools in our area as possible! The more diversity we have on our roster, the better our team will be.

Hope to see everyone soon!

16us win at 18u game day

We had a terrific showing today in Ventura at our first round of CCA league games. We came out tough in the morning against Mid Valley with a 9-9 tie. Shortly after, we tied again to Ventura. The score was 9-9. We had a strong finish with an 11-4 win against LAWP. Nice work gentlemen. Thank you to "older" guys McCall, Savasso, and Madison for competing with us. After calling him last minute this morning, Nathan "NATO" Oh hopped in the car with the Dacus's and earned the "Brick Wall" title for the day. Excellent job to everyone today. Thank you parents who drove and provided shelter and nourishment throughout the day. See you on Tuesday.
